Welcome to RIT Hackathon 2K26!

We are delighted to host passionate and innovative students from across the country for this national-level event. RIT Hackathon 2K26 provides a dynamic platform where creativity meets technology, enabling participants to design solutions that address real societal and industrial challenges.

This year, the hackathon is conducted in two stages—Phase-1 (Online) and Phase-2 (Offline)—ensuring wider participation and a more impactful experience. Phase-1 allows teams to submit their ideas remotely, while Phase-2 invites shortlisted teams to the RIT campus for an exciting 24-hour hackathon.

Registration

Phase-I Registration

Follow the following steps to complete the Phase-I registration

After logging in, from the dashboard, select college details and fill details.
Group must be with 3 or 4 members.
Download the Idea Details document from the dashboard link.
Prepare the document of for your idea details as per the format only. Be ready with the .pdf file.
Use the QR Code to for payment of Phase-I registration (Rs. 100/- per team).
Save the transaction details (receipt and transaction id) for further use.
Go for Phase-I registration from the dashboard.
Complete the registration details.
Wait for the approval from the RIT-Hackathon Organizing Team.

Rules and Regulations

Get ready to innovate, inspire, and ignite change at RIT Hackathon! We can’t wait to see what you create!

Use of College ID and provided uniform of the event is mandatory throughout the event.
No external person (other than registered members) will be allowed near the team throughout the event.
All team members should be present at the event. Leaving the venue for some time to hack elsewhere is fine.
All the necessary components/Laptop/Equipments/Tools to be brought by participants itself.
All work on a project should be done at the Hackathon.
Teams can use an idea they had before the event.
Teams can use libraries, frameworks, or open-source code in their projects. Working on a project before the event and open-sourcing it for the sole purpose of using the code during the event is against the spirit of the rules and is not allowed.
Teams must stop hacking once the time is up. However, teams are allowed to debug and make small fixes to their programs after time is up
Food Coupons will be mandatory to get food.
Jury team Decision will be final.
