The RIT Dance Club is one of the active club run by the students in the institute from the year 2016-17. Under this club, conducting dance classes for the students. This club is working under the Cultural Cell of RIT. The professional dance trainer is invited for conducting the dance training.

Objectives of the RIT Dance Club

1. To Provide training facilities to students to develop dancing skills.
2. To organize & participate institutional level cultural programs.
3. To motivate the students for participation at University, State & National level dance competitions.

Activities of the RIT Dance Club

• The students of dance club were conduct the training sessions during the First Year Students Induction Program.
• The students of dance club are actively participated in university, state & national level dance competitions.
• The students of dance club were presented dance performance during Independence Day Program (15^th) and Republic Day Program (26^th Jan.) of the institute.
• The students of dance club were performed dance performance during the annual cultural program (Virangula) of the institute.

Achievements of the Club

Academic Year 2025-26

Organized a Garba Activity on the occasion of the Navratri Festival through the RIT Dance Club on 1 October 2025. The activity encouraged student participation and promoted cultural traditions on the campus.

The RIT Dance Club achieved 1st Rank in “Umang 2026”, a National Level Group Dance Competition organized by SGU, Kolhapur, on 21 February 2026

The RIT Dance Club secured 1st Rank in “Techbeats 2K26”, a State Level Dance Competition organized by Phaltan Education Society's College of Engineering, Phaltan, on 20 March 2026.

The RIT Dance Club achieved 1st Rank in Vasant Karandak 2026, organised by PVPIT, Budhgaon, Sangli, on 25 April 2026.

Dance Club students achieved IVth Rank in State Level Group Dance competition in “Yuva - Spandan Competition” on 11^th Dec. 2022.

Dance Club Students team participated in Bhavya Record Dance Competition Organized by Shri. Khandoba Yatra Prathistan, Valkhad Tal.Khanapur Dist.Sangli on 08/01/2023 and achieved First Rank in Group Dance Competition.

Dance Club Students team achieved 3rd Rank in Medha Cup Dance Competition 2023 organized by Amrutvahini Sheti & Shikshan Vikas Sansthan, Sangamner Dist. Ahmadnagar on  25th Feb. 2023.

Dance Club Students team achieved 1st Rank in Group Dance in Yuvarang 2023 – State Level Intercollegiate Competition organized by Walchand College of Engineering, Sangli on 25th & 26th Feb. 2023. “Vasant Karandak 2023” Competition

Cultural Cell students of RIT won the Vasant Karandak (General Championship - Runner up position) under “Vasant Karandak 2023” Competition organised by PVPIT Institute, Sangli on 30th April 2023.
