Head of Department

The Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering department of RIT, Rajaramnagar established in the year 1991 offers under-graduate program B. Tech (Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering), post-graduate program M. Tech (Electronics Engineering) and Ph. D program having research center under Shivaji University, Kolhapur.  The department caters to the latest technical courses added in the curriculum as well as latest hardware and softwares procured in the areas of electronics and telecommunication engineering like VLSI, IoT, Artificial Intelligence, Signal Processing, Embedded systems and Automation to keep our students abreast with the cutting-edge technological needs of industries. Moreover, curriculum also includes courses on professional skill development.   Experienced and committed faculties, Outcome Based Active Teaching–Learning process, Commercial Product Development, Very good Industry Institute Interaction and placements of students are the major strengths of the department. The department strives for the overall development of the students, so that they will be confident to stand and succeed in the world outside as good human being.

Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering department of Rajarambapu Institute of Technology, established in the year 1991 with an undergraduate program in Electronics Engineering is NBA accredited five times in years 2003, 2007, 2013, 2016 and 2019. Department also runs M. Tech. Programs specialized in ‘Electronics’ accredited twice by NBA, New Delhi. The department is recognized as Ph.D research center by Shivaji University, Kolhapur. ORION 2k24

The Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering Students’ Association (ETESA) of department of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering, Rajarambapu Institute of Technology, Islampur organized a national level mega event "ORION 2K24" on February 23-24, 2024. The event was organized in collaboration with IETE Students’ Forum and ISTE RIT Chapter. Dr. P. K. Kharat, Senate Member, Shivaji University Kolhapur & an alumnus of batch 2001 (UG) & 2007 (PG) graced the event as the chief guest. This mega-event included events: Mind Maze, Circuit Hunt, RIT‘s Got Talent, Reel Craft, Dodgeball and IPL Auction. Nearly 400 students from various colleges participated in all these events. ORION gave the students a platform to showcase their talent in various competitions. Event was conducted under the guidance of ETESA faculty advisor Prof. Snehal Watharkar, student representatives Shreyas Mali and Anushka Patil. All participants were motivated and congratulated by Dr. P. V. Kadole, Director, Dr. L. M. Jugulkar, Dean Students development, Dr. A. B. Kakade, Dean R&D and Dr. M. S. Patil, HoD E & TC Dept.

IDEA lab workshop

The Department of Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering, Rajarambapu Institute of Technology successfully conducted the 6 days Skilling Program on ‘Integrated Electronics & MATLAB’ from 20th – 22nd & 26th – 28th February 2024. The workshop was organized in association with AICTE-RIT IDEA Lab and Institute Innovation Cell (IIC). This program aimed to provide students with fundamental skills in MATLAB, Arduino, MATLAB-Arduino interfacing, and PCB design. The program concluded with participants’ feedback and certificate distribution by the hands of Hon. Director Dr. P. V. Kadole. Dr. S. K. Patil, Dean Academics, Dr. M. S. Patil, HoD E&TC and faculty members graced the valedictory function on 28th February with their benevolent presence.
