Welcome to the Department of Electrical Engineering Rajarambapu Institute of Technology Sakharale, Islampur (Dist. Sangli). Our department was established in the year 2004 to provide high quality technical education. We have UG and PG programs in Electrical Engineering. The department is growing leaps and bounds since its inception. The department has a dedicated team of faculties with a wide spectrum of specialisation in Power Systems, Power Electronics & drive and Control systems. Department has the state of art laboratories. The department is distinguished by its high-quality research publication in various areas of Electrical Engineering. Our enthusiastic team of faculties and staffs provide constant guidance, support and motivation to our graduate and post-graduate students to make them a successful Engineer to face the global challenges.
The Electrical Engineering curriculum is up to date with the industry needs and expectation. Department is very proactive in organizing workshops, seminars, expert lectures in the area of power system optimization, advanced power systems, Smart Grid, Electric Vehicles, Power Quality, Energy Management and Audit and Software Training continuously. One of the mega-events organized by the department is the “Enthuse”. Department has active RIT-IEEE Students Branch and various technical clubs. Department is actively involved in industry consultancy, energy auditing, funding projects and research projects. In summary, we are passionate and committed to the quality education in Electrical Engineering.
The Department of Electrical Engineering (EE) at RIT is established in 2004 with an intake of 60 at UG and in 2011 with an intake of 18 at PG and is evolving since its inception. The major objective of the department is to impart high-quality education and to encourage the students of B. Tech, and M. Tech in pursuing research. The department offers B.
