Head of Department

It gives me immense pleasure to lead the department of Automobile Engineering, Diploma Wing.  Our department is established in the year 2015 with the aim to produce automobile technocrats who will easily fit in the requirement of the industries as well as serve the society with ethical and social values. We, the team Automobile engineering are highly qualified, experienced and dedicated faculty members working together with the primary focus of all-round development of students.

Main objectives of our department are:

  • To associate with industry and alumni for mutual benefits like training, internship and expert lectures for the students.
  • To encourage students for higher studies in recognized institutes
  • To inculcate entrepreneurial attitude and values with lifelong learning.
  • To strengthen the teaching-learning process through the use of the different active learning techniques with outcomes-based education.
  • The faculty members are encouraged to publish research papers in reputed journals and participate in faculty development programs and industrial training with well established system.

Automobile engineering is a professional engineering discipline that deals with the design, manufacturing  and maintenance of the automobile and machines The department of Automobile engineering established in 2015, has made remarkable progress since then, with capacity of 60 students. 26 students and 2 staff attended industrial visit. Students got to know about the different machining processes, welding processes, CNC machines and press machines. B.E mechanical lady graduate explaining SPM machine at Apex Engineering. Students are interacting with employee at Apex Engineering.

I fill proud saying, I’m Alumini of RIT. Its not only an institute who serves technical & practical knowledge but also motivates against social responsibilities.It is an institute where future life enriches with a good spirit.

I’ve been passed out from RIT, taking a First Class grade in Diploma in Automobile Engineering (2015-2018).The journey with this institute was amazing, with full of practical knowledge rather than thereotical knowledge which is must.The Automobile Laboratories would use to make our minds fresh,deep knowledge about the particular concept was gained.Specifically practical knowledge helps in enhancing the queries/doubts and that is exactly followed by RIT. Well planned industrial visits helped in gaining the industrial knowledge.

Project ideas coming from the student side are taken under the consideration and properly guided by the faculties without neglecting.This builts up confidence level among the students with innovative mind.Hence,results in best output which clarifies definition of an Engineer. Everyone,right from lab assistant to Director plays an supportive role in each task which is best,seen in rare institutes.Communication of faculties is satisfactory and no doubt they are always ready for clearing the doubts of students.Faculties have good knowledge regarding their subjects as well other subjects too,which seems to be impressive.

Infrastructure is awesome,has a kind touch of nature.Fresh atmosphere for quality learing,well planned laboratories with advanced equipments,classrooms have the digital platforms for actual learing.Central canteen which serves delicious food which includes fast foods. A library where number of books of reputed authors also various magazines,newspapers,well hygine reading hall,digital library,cafateria,wifi connectivity,etc what else should a best institute have.

I can say RIT is a right path for bright future.
