Blended MOOCs @ RIT

IIT Bombay proposed blended MOOCs which attempts to combine the benefits of MOOCs and conventional teaching, and envisages factoring of MOOCs marks in the subject grade computed for a student of that subject in a regular degree program. RIT is one amongst 50 Institutes working closely with IIT Bombay as Remote Centers (RCs) of the program.
In academic year 2015-16 Sem I RIT is registered for following courses:

1. Computer Programming

  • No of faculty members registered = 02
  • Class = SY CSE and SY IT
  • Number of students = Approximately 120

2. Thermodynamics

  • No of faculty members registered = 03
  • Class = SY Mech, SY Auto
  • Number of students = Approximately 120
