IRINS (Indian Research Information Network System)
The RIT Central Library provides access to IRINS, a web-based Research Information Management (RIM) service developed by INFLIBNET. It helps faculty, researchers, and scientists curate, showcase, and network their scholarly activities.
IRINS integrates with platforms like ORCID, Scopus, Research ID, Microsoft Academic, and Google Scholar to seamlessly manage and highlight research output.

The Indian Research Information Network System (IRINS) is a common platform for academic and research institutions in India to showcase and manage research activities.
Key Features:

• Provides a unified platform to display faculty and institutional research output.
• Offers bibliometric insights like publications, citations, and h-index.
• Integrates with systems like ORCID, Scopus, Google Scholar, and Researcher ID.
• Helps policymakers identify expertise, research trends, and gaps for better funding decisions.

RIT launched IRINS in 2019 to curate and highlight faculty profiles and scholarly achievements. This initiative is managed by Mr. Vishwas Hase, Librarian, as the Nodal Officer.
