RIT Hackathon 2K26, organized by the Department of CSE (AI & ML) at Rajarambapu Institute of Technology, Islampur, is a national-level innovation marathon aimed at encouraging students to develop creative solutions to real-world problems. Sponsored by Bharat Forge, the event brings together talent from Engineering, Diploma, and BCA/MCA domains.
The hackathon features themes such as:To ensure an effective and inclusive experience, the hackathon is organized in two stages:
Phase-1: Online Submission
Participants register and submit their solution abstracts online. This stage focuses on idea development, problem clarity, and creativity. Shortlisting is based on innovation, feasibility, and relevance to the chosen theme.
Phase-2: Offline 24-Hour Hackathon
Shortlisted teams are invited to the RIT campus for the final round—an exciting 24-hour offline hackathon. Here, participants convert their ideas into prototypes, collaborate intensively, and present their solutions to expert evaluators.
RIT Hackathon 2K26 aims to nurture innovation, promote interdisciplinary thinking, and build solutions that can positively impact society and industry.
