The undergraduate twinning programs follow the 2+2 or 2+3 model, where students spend the initial two years at RIT and the remaining years at a partner university abroad. The twinning programs are available for the following disciplines:
2+2 Model : Students complete two years of study at RIT, followed by two years at the partner university. This structure enables students to earn degrees from foreign university.
2+3 Model : Similar to the 2+2 model, but includes an additional year of study abroad, allowing for more in-depth learning and research opportunities to earn a B.tech + MS degree.
The postgraduate twinning programs are designed for a 1+1 model, where students spend one year at RIT and the subsequent year at a partner university. These programs are available for the following specializations:
1+1 Model : Students complete one year of coursework at RIT, then proceed to the partner university for the final year. This structure provides students with an international perspective and advanced skills pertinent to their field..
