Warm Greetings and Congratulations to the Space Club RIT! It is with great honor and pleasure that I extend best wishes to you all for striving hard to publish website of Space Club RIT. "It is better to fail in originality than to succeed in imitation." - Herman Melville I believe that our space club team works on above principle. Prototypes are built so that designers can think about their solutions in a different way (tangible product rather than abstract ideas), as well as to fail quickly and cheaply, so that less time and money is invested in an idea that turns out to be a bad one. The whole space club team is passionate and continuously engaged in building small experiments which will lead to space research. I hope the team will endlessly carry their moto and will organize innovative activities in future. Furthermore, I appeal the junior team members to carry forward the legacy. Once again very warm wishes and whole-hearted congratulations.

As per Queen Elizabeth II, “At its heart Engineering is about using science to find creative, practical Solutions. It's a noble profession”. If you have seen AIB’s Campus placement video you might be aware in what sorry state current Engineers in India are, Multiple surveys citing un-employability of engineers, Reason being lack of skills which are not developed due to the current Indian Engineering pedagogy. The same zealous high school graduates who joined Engineering in a pursuit to do something different, innovate, be like Rancho end up struggling for a job during final years. What went wrong? Was it lack of culture that promotes Innovation, helps in grooming leadership skills, Team Skills, problem solving, more importantly things keeping that curios Engineer alive? In Comes Space Club, Space Club was a brainchild of few space afficionados who wanted to bring that kind of conducive culture to the college. Space Club is a hub of innovation, design thinking, Interesting Activities which will help you grow as an Engineer. Out of many learning experiences, the best experience of Launching the Balloon Satellite gave me that indescribable feeling of something you worked on, touched the horizon of the Earth, The Confidence boost it gave me was sky-high. Good Luck and Godspeed!!

"The bestest thing that happened with me during my 4 years of engineering is I came across the CIIED and Space club and became part of it. I will be always grateful to my seniors for showing faith in me, because that's the reason, the person I am today. Space club taught me to be persistent and bring the discipline in my daily routine. ... And that's my advice to all the future members of club to keep faith in the process, do not doubt your abilities and keep doing what you are doing. There will be moments when nothing will go as expected but only persistence will keep you moving towards the glory. And as we keep saying, 'Sky is the limit!', All my best wishes to reach the new heights!"
Thank you so much for reaching out! All of you are doing great job and I am really happy seeing Space club being in the right hands!

The club provided a safe environment in which members could tackle new problems and make them feel manageable. Member isn't the right word to describe everyone in the club because everyone is treated like family. We started only knowing each other by name and eventually became an open book to each other. The club was in charge of my current ... appearance as well as assisting me in coping with life. Being a part of such an organization was the most pleasant thing that happened to me during my undergraduate studies. I am grateful to all of the batches that came before me and those that will follow me for allowing me to be a part of this and I am confident that the space club will always lead students in the direction they intend to go, and I wish the best for all members who came before and after me.
Thank you incredibly much.

SpaceClub is such type of student organization that moulds us from clay like structure into personality. Speaking about my personal experience, guidance of each and every senior helped me a lot to grow. Students from every branch in our college are involved so we are exposed to various technical terms from their branches also. By spending four to five hours daily in club we routined our life and that helped to learn managing skills. But SpaceClub is not only for technical development but also for personal development , that how to communicate professionally ? How to make connections for betterment of ourselves? Best thing in SpaceClub according to me was exchanging our thoughts either in technical or non technical aspects . Working with enthusiastic team helped to develop new projects.
Thank you SpaceClub 😊

Firstly as a part of Space Club RIT, I feel so proud of the divine progress of club and members too. During my time as a member, I served in the Design Department since I recognized the cruciality and importance of the Rocket design. As a Designer, I contributed by presenting my ideas and designs for all decided tasks. As my experience says, along with the technical improvement the members grow mentally too. They became socially active and stand by their opinion without any hesitation. I feel this is the core growth of a learner. Moreover, my job went beyond the responsibilities of a member, I also did my best to advise as the Head of Design and also learnt to create bonding between our team members, most of whom were very introverted people, like I once was. Thus the Space Club RIT is really the best platform to build yourself technically and socially too.

Hello guys,
Hope you all are doing well.
As soon as I was a part of Space Club the thought of " Sky is not a limit" was imbibed upon us by our seniors. The amount of knowledge and experiences I have gained are immaculate; whether it is launching a Balloon Satellite,... visiting GMRT Pune or ISRO's exhibition at VJTI Mumbai every experience counts. Being a part of third batch of Space Club was a challenging and thrilling experience as it required conceptually design and practically executing different systems. The "Research Oriented' thinking and 'Interdisciplinary Collaboration' required in order to design the system before even executing it, gives a vast spectrum of knowledge and insights to an individual. This statement defines the Space Club at least for me, what you see as the 'achievements' viz. satellites, rockets, etc. are just the forthcoming results. If you want to be or are part of Space Club you have to piously follow a radical and rational way of thinking, the originality of thoughts and be a fearless thinker. All the best!
Thank you for reaching out guys.

For me, Space Club is not only the technical club that helps you to understand the basics of rockets and satellites but also it readies you for the upcoming hardships in life. I remember my first day at Space Club, I was extremely excited but at the same time extremely nervous. Recollecting on the whole valuable experience now, I would encourage current and future members to recognize that like anything in life, you'll face both ups and downs throughout your experience. The important thing to remember is to always try your best and not let the poor instances hold you back from continuing to work hard and reach your full potential.
As one of the initial members, our journey with the space club was a rollercoaster ride but it only made us more potent. From my experience, I can say that college teaches you an engineering curriculum and club prepares you for the corporate world, Both are equally important. It is the best time to rewrite or enhance your "life story." The opportunities are ample. Seize them. If you ask me in one sentence my answer would be it's not a Rocket Science😎, you'll make it through.
Do what you can with the time that you have to the best of your ability. Most importantly, remember to have fun!

The days at the space club were an unforgettable experience. I still remember the day when two senior guys came up to me and said, “we are starting something cool, wanna join?” That’s where it all began. For me, the Space club is not just a technology space, it’s something where people from different cultures, backgrounds, and expertise can learn, collaborate and build. Whether it was the nanosat, Balloon satellite, or the visits to the G.M.R.T each experience was truly mesmerizing for me. Each of the experiences holds a value in shaping my personality, and I am grateful for it. For young brains like you who are trying to build their future in the technology space, the Space club is the best platform. I would advise you to extend the borders of your knowledge to every domain and not remain restricted to a few. Along with technology, develop yourself socially and emotionally. Read as much literature as you can and feed your brain with positivity. And, if any sort of help is needed, we are always there for you.
Finally, as The Space Club progresses and new members add up, we hope to see a community holding to its root values The values of secularism, liberty and democracy are deeply imbibed in the ecosystem and we hope that it remains imbibed forever.
Wishing all the members of Space Club a huge success and a great future ahead.

The best thing that happened in my engineering is part of the space club. Blissful to have a such great community. The space club is a wonderful place thanks to all founder members to develop and lead the club in the proper direction. What makes it even better are people who share the gift of their time to work together and learn. I saw such an environment in a club and learn a lot. " The greatest leader is not necessarily the one who does great things. He is the one that gets the people to do the great things" I saw such leaders in the club, worked with them, and embedded the quality in me. I learned that getting knowledge is not enough its application, how to use it for society, and how to pass it on to the next generation is important. During my last year, I got a chance to lead the best team ever with all time. Innovating things, making use of it, and helping others is the best part I experienced. Working on such rocket and satellite project require so much effort, while taking efforts lots of obstacles will occur at that time never give up and try hard to make it possible. All of you doing great and keep it up. All my best wishes to reach new heights with glory and the space club's next generation will always be awesome. Keep it like passion, have confidence and touch the sky with glory.
Best of Luck!
